It is known for its excellent performance on abrasive, rough, and dangerous hiking points with its gripping sole. Moreover, it’s very comforting and durable from a manufacturing point of view. However, what got my eye was its design with a trendy yellow lining on the high ankle design.

1. Design and Style
It’s a high-ankle boot with softer padding and a resilient design. The interior of Asolo Swing has comforting cushioning that keeps the strain off my feet. Its design is ideal for miles of hiking. Plus, the seams are neat and have been kept wise for pro hikers. You won’t see the fray laces or threads at all, which tells you about its value.
2. Uppers and Lace Closures
Asolo Swing is among the top hiking boot with its high-tenacity nylon upper for durability against wear and tear. Therefore you have the total freedom to lean over its performance whether in a muddy area or in watery conditions. Also, three metal hooks for lace as a close added to best fitting and grip. However, there are also loop lace closures.
3. Waterproof and Breathable
Asolo Swing features a Gore-Tex waterproof and breathable membrane that lets me walk during rain. Dry feet are a significant plus point for added grip. Moreover, the waterproof membrane never restricted me from hiking during a rainstorm.
Its water-resistant suede Cordura material looks impressive and protects to keep feet dry. Due to its breathability factor, Asolo Swing is best for summer hiking or those who sweat a lot.
4. Resilience Interior
The softer and more flexible boot interior is all about day-long wearing. The interior of this boot is best for hiking because of its resilience. You will feel the best comfort that doesn’t cause chaffing on the skin or joint in any way. Due to the EVA midsole and the Lite footbed, you don’t strain your feet. Overall, Asolo Swing is reliable for its flexible interior that keeps feet in a natural position.
5. Outsole and Grip
I totally found the outsole of this boot a bonus point. The shock-absorbing Asolo/Vibram Radiant outsole for optimal traction on varying terrain makes it a durable design, it worked best for the rugged outsole. Also, the Asolo laces are easy to tie and make a good grip around your feet.
The durability has been something that never let me replace this boot. I hike on abrasive terrain with rough pathways, and its outsole doesn’t break or puncture.
6. Toe Box and Ankle Support
Asolo Swing has a solid toe box which is roomy as well. You can wiggle your toes inside this boot, and the protective outsole material keeps you safe from impact and injury. So you can trust this boot for hiking and climbing on sharp, slippery hills. It has a taller shaft that always adds to the ankle stability for brisk walking.
7. Lightweight Build
Due to the lightweight design, this hiking boot becomes a preference for day-long wear. Its 2.19 pounds weight is reasonable for maintaining balance, stability, and perfection in grip on all terrain. If you have sensitive feet, its weight would never put extra pressure.
